An antique Caucasian Karabagh runner. A black field displays a central column and two lateral half columns of various Harshang style palmettes the entire length of the rug. The border is a narrow strip and decidedly secondary to the strong field action within. The width is standard for Caucasian and Persian antique runners. Three feet or less is actually a relative rarity.
