A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The light blue grey field shows an unusually flattened, modified Mustafi design of acanthus spiral volutes, partial racemes and lots of simple petal palmettes. No partial wreaths or rose bouquets, however. Brick main border with ecru acanthus partial volute split arabesques. Robust and long wearing weave with solid handle. Unusual size.
