An antique Persian Dorokhsh carpet. Dark brown cypress trees and animated, smooth botehs adorn the fine framing rust main border of this Khorassani town carpet. The Herati pattern almost totally obscures the light field tone and, at a distance, gives a repeating complex rosette pattern.
