A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The near black ground is carefully covered by a small lattice of partially serrated leaves enclosing eight pointed stars. The main ecru border displays a stylized blossom and stem pattern common in western Persia, flanked by coral red minors with reversing fan palmettes.
