An antique Persian Kurdish rug. A repeating, offset small flower pattern covers the abrashed grey-green to green to the medium blue ground of this Hamadan area kellegi carpet. The rust-brown border places stiff, formal leaves around lozenge-shaped simple turtle palmettes.
