An antique Persian Kurdish rug. The eggshell field displays a central vertical run of five deeply notched lozenges creating, in effect, squares with four split arrowhead finials, along with fractional en- suite side fillers. This rustic Kurdistan west Persian scatter has a mosaic pattern angular undulating vine and small similar triangular side pieces, all on an ivory ground. Small botehs and rosettes float in the field.
