A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The empty center is defined by two four palmette diamonds above and below. Cloud bands snake their way onto the straw-sand field, with tertiary rosettes and foliage. The visual emphasis is central and vertical, with the design emerging at the lower field edge. Red main border with palmettes enclosing rosettes or other palmettes, oblique “hand” motives and bits of vinery. Medium blue, cream, rust and teal green detail tones.
