A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The madder rust field features an upward-sloping central motif of four enormous, ragged ecru leaves surrounding an open diamond, with two small palmettes. Petal palmettes, leaves, and clusters of rosettes fill the field. A light blue strip-style border displays stylized petal palmettes and forked rust elements. The boldness of the pattern suggests it could be sold as a Sultanabad.
