A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The totally plain ruby red field is matched by the equally plain outermost surround. The main strip style border shows reversing turtles accented in royal blue, cream and rust. Very few Mahals have plain open fields and here the red is extraordinary.
