A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The slate grey ground shows an allover rosette pattern with small buds and leaves. The rosettes may develop small palmettes, smaller buds or stand alone. The Herati sources are quite distant and this can in no way be called a Herati variant. The creamy beige strip style border shows a particularly open trapezoidal vine sprouting flowers.
