A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This village kellegi shows a vertically stretched all-over Herati design on a striated abrashed charcoal slate field, with rust accents and several small, stylized birds. Main strip style border with palmettes and a roughly rendered triple “tangerine flower” repeat.
