A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The slate field goes on and on, with nearly three columns, widely repeating pattern of geometric open teardrops, flowers including carnations, tiny diamonds and little stems. An unusual and creative pattern, possibly unique. Triple border with beige central strip showing rosette and leaf repeat and equal, flanking secondaries with bitonal slanted barbed leaves. Rust details. Rare, exceptional size.
