An antique Persian Malayer rug. This unusual west Persian town carpet displays eleven alternating columns of leafy ‘X’ motives and arabesque-outlined ‘dumb bells’ on a zig-zag edged sandy cream field. An ivory border of directional flowers with lozenge blossoms frames this attractive room size.
