A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Rows of large, bent-stem flowers parade up the taupe- field of this rustic kellegi (long rug). The elaborate flowers were probably adapted from a Western textile source, Small, perky birds add to the general informality. The flowers sway left and right in alternate rows with wiry blossoms between them. Bulbous botehs edge the field and a ribbon meander narrow order encloses it.
