An Antique Persian Saddlebags Rug. Definitely a unique piece, the pile faces of these Luri tribal khurdjins (saddlebags) do not match: on one face are three elongated crosses while the other displays three rows of stubby-armed crosses. The triangle mosaic pattern backgrounds are irregular and random. The closure tabs are done in pile, an unusual feature. All in all, a collector piece for the seeker of the unusual and genuine.
