Antique-e of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The obverse displays a currency bill payable at Tabriz only, and featuring oval medallions with the lion and sun, and a portrait of the last Qajar Shah, Ahmad Shah, so around 1923 or earlier when the British controlled northern Iran. Tan ground, corner charcoal cartouches, rose border with rosettes. Persian money has not looked this good in a while.
