A wool pile with asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The white cotton foundation adds a lighter tone to the distressed buff-beige octagonal field, which features a leaf and rosette allover pattern related to the Herati design. The corners are abrashed in medium to dark brown triangles. A narrow superior border with a reversing fan palmette repeat completes the design. Distressed condition, with visible faults and wear.
