A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The brown field is almost completely covered by a uniform tile pattern of offset rows of Chinese beveled squares enclosing diamonds with hoked extenders. Originally a silk textile pattern. Main border of storm clouds and inner minor of geometric S’s. Mellow, uncomplicated palette.
