A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The finely abrashed light grey field displays a four by six array of floating squares, all edged with hooks, set within larger squares creating color diagonals. Each inner square has a varied dot arrangement. The straw main border show small, highly stylized still lives, octagons and formal flowers. Two squares in the field are amusingly, independently. distorted. Accents all-over in rust, cream, brick and green.
