A modern Turkish Anatolian Patchwork throw rug handmade during the 21st century using antique rugs and a vintage Kilim. The tripartite flatwoven hemp blue field is bordered by a collage of pile rug fragments of mostly Persian village origin and in semi-geometric styles. The pieces are all colorful and diversely patterned and make intriguing artistic statements on their own. Patchwork rugs are a recent innovation in rug making.
