A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This is a fine example of the recent innovation of copying photographs in knotted pile rugs. Here a beautiful maiden, decked out in jewels, reclines half- length with her to pet cheetahs. No borders. The extremely fine knotting duplicates the pixels on a screen effectively. These photo pictorials are a Tabriz specialty.
