A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The 20 toman denomination shows at the left in two circular motives, while at the center is an Achaemenid-style figure with a large sheep, and an elaborate palmette shape. At the right is a bust length figure of the Shah in military ceremonial garb. Finely woven. Twenty tomans is worthless today, however.
