Symmetric wool knots on a cotton warp. A central hexagon with a star and projecting flower motif is set against a light panel, which in turn adorns an abrashed coral field. Four straw-colored hexagons, resembling the main medallion, are positioned near the corners. Stylized cloud bands and pyramidal palmettes decorate the ecru main border. This is an unusual format for a Turkish rug. The weave is moderate, and the palette is somewhat lighter.
