A vintage Central Asian embroidered Suzani textile. A diagonal leaf lattice with rosette vertices encloses a variety of multi flower compositions on the eggshell cotton ground, framed by a colorful rosette and palmette border accented in red and goldenrod. Suzani textiles (Persian for ‘needlework’) are produced by women in Uzbekistan in Central Asia.
