A vitnage Persia Afshar rug. A dense fill of row by row reversing tiny botehs fills the tan field corners and the sides of the subfield surrounding the wasp-waisted, rosette filled central motif with three lozenge points at each end. The general tan-beige also pervades the border with its dark brown detailed hexagons. This SE Persian rural scatter has a pleasing and versatile mellow tonality.
