The lightly abrashed goldenrod field displays two lovers in a large hexagonal reserve. The boy is presenting a flower to his beloved, a token of affection. Bluebirds in the four field corners support the amorous action, and tiny birds perch on branched stems. Poled lozenges and connected S’s in the border system medium weave. Vintage rug with charming, naïve subject matter.
