A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The unusual red field shows a characteristic allover pattern of various lozenge-shaped floral arrays, with only small, vestigial right angle corner motives, no medallion or developed corners. Abrashed light denim main border with squared palmettes, and minor ecru stripes with oblique rolled scrolls. Well woven.
