A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. A visual pair to rug # 27899, this village large scatter from western Persia shows a light brown field with a centralized, allover pattern of lazy palmettes, octofoils, octagons, rosettes, and vinery, in generally mellow tones. Narrow straw-ecru border of rosettes and triple floret stems in a “tangerine flower” variant.
