A vintage Persian Malayer rug. Ivory, C-shaped leaves frame the bold red-brown split arabesque outlined open medallion with a rosette center. Two tone diagonal leaves slant inward toward the ends of the slate-blue field. This ruglet has all the character of a full scatter size piece from western Persia.
