A vintage Persian Malayer rug. A visual pair to rug # 26419. Rust details are everywhere in the serrated leaves creating the implicit lattice, the enclosed one-way palmettes, the chessboard color squares in the corners, and in the borders, especially the nearly solid outer stripe. The hexagonal subfield is in the palest powder blue-grey with sand field corners.
