A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The pale straw border features an unusual stepped and straight meander with boxes in place of the typical rosettes or palmettes. The slate field presents a locally distinctive version of the Herati pattern, with a central pole of fringed diamonds flanked by leaves, rosettes, and palmettes.
