A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This small scatter displays one of the most popular vintage Malayer allover patterns. On a light blue-grey ground appear rosettes, octagons, slanted parallelogram leaves, C-shaped serrated leaves, and myriad small color samplers. The straw border shows an almost continuous meander with fringed and octagonal palmettes.
