A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The abrashed brown field features a distinct Malayer interpretation of the Herati design, with a central column of fringed, linked hexagonal lozenges flanked by bent barbed leaves, rosettes, palmettes, and botehs. The brown strip-style main border displays botehs and conical palmettes, while the ecru outermost surround includes reversing fan palmettes.
