A wool pile with symmetric knots on a wool foundation. A giant, fierce lion with a zigzagging, striped mane and hide advances to the right on the plain rose-colored field, nearly filling it. The cream main border features floating, stemmed carnations, while the inner brown border is decorated with ovoid stars. A Qashghai Gabbeh tribal piece.
