A vintage Persian Tabriz carpet. This fully colored carpet in the “Vase pattern” adds mythical animal combats to the triaxial pattern layout on an old ivory ground. The strong motives are close but never crowded. The taupe/beige border frame recedes behind the active, advancing field.
