A wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The light blue slate field features an allover 'Vase carpet' pattern centered around a petal rosette, with a large structural lattice positioning vases, amphora-shaped iris palmettes, petal palmettes, and flowering chevron-layout bushes. The elements are closely arranged, with considerable variety in both design and color. The rust-colored minor border showcases opposing near-black leaf meanders, interspersed with palmettes and floret branches.
