A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Veece rugs are a very specialized taste, but some real treasures can be found on this interface of the rustic and the urban. Here a straw field is dominated by a cream hexagonal medallion with a characteristic hooked periphery. Double fish hooks within the medallion and two lozenge-shaped pendants en suite. No usual corner hooks, but botehs and rosettes instead. Ecru rosette and tulip palmette main border. A very desirable and versatile size.
