A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The near black ground is centered by a goofy straw lion with a sideways turned yellow gold head and snout. Four additional smaller lions with the same straw palette, along with stick human figure and many rosettes. decorate the defined reserves. Narrow border of loosely chained ecru hexagons. White cotton details. One end with surviving near black wide plain weave end finish.
