This wool pile features symmetric knots on a wool foundation. Likely from a village in eastern Anatolia, this starkly geometric long piece showcases eight similar goldenrod, nested, and interior hooked squares on an abrashed medium brown ground. The strip-style main border in the darkest brown features an elaborated ecru zigzag. It pairs well with large carpets from Kars in eastern Turkey or with Caucasian pieces as well.
