Wool warp-faced weave. Assembled from narrower bands cut to size and edge-sewn, this rustic piece features natural, undyed tones of charcoal, dark brown, medium brown, and cream. While it may seem repetitive at first glance, the weaver keeps the eye engaged with subtle variations, such as in the stripes on the right. Local villages use these insulating pieces as floor carpets, covers, and room dividers. In good condition.
