A vintage Turkish rug from the mid-20th century. A wide plain saturated marsala colored border with a beige open field. No ditzy ornamentation. Totally graphic with a very long pile. This is probably what rugs looked like thousands of years ago. And you can have the Neolithic in your home without all the archaeological hassles.
