An antique Persian Malayer Distressed rug. This shabby chic Malayer scatter from west Persia has an allover Herati design on the zig-zag edged navy subfield with domestic birds filling the triangular spaces at the sides of the red field. Chained botehs adorn the navy minor borders and an abstract flowering vine ornaments the old ivory main stripe.
