An antique Persian Kashan Silk rug. Although in peripherally rough condition, this small, finely woven central Persian urban ruglet still merits interest. The beige silk field displays two jeweled cushions, altars, or plinths joined by a chevron flower strap, with green half double lateral pendants, all within a wine colored floral main border. Can be made into an opulent pillow cover.
