An antique Persian Khorassan carpet. Sixteen large and small points edge the prominent navy medallion which is centered by an ivory oval palmette pendanted sub-medallion. The field is the classic Khorassan salmon-red which sets off the medallion, pendants and extended corners. More navy appears in the main border, with its double linked palmettes.
