The brilliant tomato red madder field displays an allover pattern of characteristic navy palmettes, lateral ivory half palmettes, squares in petal nests, rosettes, flowers and a host of other geometric elements. This exciting NW Persian village mansion scale carpet has a navy border with a vigorous turtle palmette pattern. The wide natural dye palette includes two reds, rose, mustard, several blues, greens, ivory, black, rust and buff.
