A wool pile with asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The uniform, rich red field is centered around a small lobate octofoil, surrounded by a dense weave of floretted and floral vinery, accented with small palmettes, and round and square rosettes. The light putty-colored border is adorned with rosettes and palmettes, flanked by two plain ecru minors and a red outermost surround. An attractive, large carpet with an unfaded, saturated red.
