A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Rows of four radiant sunbursts are separated by rows of diamonds, further spaced by lines of small vegetal motifs, on a slate field. The red striped border features stenciled petal palmettes, lancet leaves, and small rosettes. The warmer border visually advances, while the cooler field recedes.
