A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. As is typical of Tabriz carpets, this well-balanced piece features a powder-grey field with round rosettes, octofoils, and wiry right angles, subtly accented in deep brown. The continuous sand-toned main border displays alternating octagonal turtles and interspersed rosettes.
