An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Ivory forked arabesque allover pattern sets up the ragged, leafy and petalled palmettes on the salmon-rust ground. Yellow flowers accent the pattern. A light blue-grey border of palmettes and rosettes in alteration frames this well-woven NW Persian urban room size carpet.
