An antique Persian Tabriz pictorial rug. A blue mountain takes up most of the scene, with a tiled mosque with tall minaret at the crest, peasant houses below, and bushes, trees and quadrupeds scattered about. The red border repeats goats around stumpy palm trees. The rug is charming and folky, but the weave is moderately fine.
